Description

Vulcan is a hybrid rhododendron that grows to about 5ft tall in about 10 years, producing wrinkled appearing flowers against contrasting deep green foliage from May to June. Vulcan is a hardy specimen and can withstand temperatures as low as 20 C.  Rhododendron Vulcan is one to think about as an alternative for hedging, screening.  

Where to Plant

Plant full sun to partial shade, well draining, slightly acidic soil. Remember that rhododendrons are planted shallow depth and do not like their feet 'wet'.
