Description

Spiraea vanhouttei is a deciduous shrub with arching branches and a compact and bushy growth habit.  Leaves are ovate,, scalloped, dark green with a blue green underside with profuse, small white cup shaped white flowers held in dense corymbs up to 2 inches across from June to July  Drought and pollution tolerant as well as tolerant of deer and rabit.  Excellent coastal plant. 

Where to Plant

Plant full sun to partial shade, well draining soil.
