Description
One of the smaller growing spiraea plants, perfect for hedging, beds, borders. Alpina Nana is a mound forming, dense, dwarf, deciduous shrub or hedging plant bearing small, ovate, toothed, blue green leaves, turning red and orange in autumn. Eye-catching flattened clusters of gorgeous pink flowers produced from late spring to midsummer. Ideal as an informal hedge plant, for banks and slopes, easy to maintain.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun for best results, but will tolerate partial shade and a wide range of conditions. Ultimate height and spread – 0.45m x 0.6m after 5-10 years. Alpina nana is ideal for that low growing hedge that is easy to maintain.
