Description

Marie Forte has one of the most striking flowers for rhododendrons.  Unusual flower shape and striking colours - a must for gardens!  Marie Forte bears the most unusual coloured flowers that are  dark red /purple, funnel shaped, grouped in bunches with a deep purple spot in the throat, something not seen in rhododendrons. Marie Forte is a medium sized evergreen rhododendron with a broad upright bushy shape flowering from May to June.  Good evergreen hedging alternative as it is easy to grow and maintain.  Ultimate height and spread 2m x4m in 10-20 years.

Where to Plant

Plant full sun to partial shade, well draining, moist, slightly acidic soil.
