​Description

Masja is a compact bushy, deciduous shrub with broad slightly toothed leaves bearing large beautiful red mop-head blooms from mid-summer to early autumn. Colourful splash for all gardens for borders, containers - or a colourful boundary hedge!! 

Where to Plant

Plant full sun to partial shade for best results.  Does best in north-facing, or east/west facing situations.  Tolerates moist, well-draining clay and loam soils and pH alkaline, acid, neutral.  Ultimate height and spread – 0.5-1m x 0.5-1m in 5-10 years. Prune in spring to enhance flowering.  Cut back flowered stems to a strong pair of buds below each flower head.
