Characteristics

Pyracantha Golden Charmer is an evergreen, compact, but bushy and hardy shrub that makes a great intruder barrier.  It has glossy green leaves, loads of white flowers followed by orange/ yellow berries late Autumn and Winter. 

Golden Charmer is great as a border shrub and for walls.  It is attractive to wildlife making this an ideal addition to the garden.  Golden Charmer is ideal for exposed areas as well as sheltered areas.  

Where to Plant

Pyracantha Golden Charmer will grow in most soil types, preferring chalky, loamy, sandy and clay making this perfect for all areas of the garden.  Best planted in sunny area for berry colour, well-draining, but will tolerate shady parts of the garden that most other plants will not tolerate.  Ultimate height and spread 2.5m x 2.5m in about 10 years   Plant 3-5 per metre, single row for hedge.
