Description

Prunus Amanogawa is a compact, deciduous, upright, columnar tree ideal for the smaller gardens.  April will bring out the delicate, slightly aromatic clusters of semi double, pale pink blossoms making this one of the best ornamental flowering Japanese Cherry Trees. Autumn will bring out a colourful red and orange tinge to the leaves.  Truly an outstanding tree for gardens.

Where to Plant

Plant full sun for best results, moist but well-draining soil.  Tolerates most types of soil but prefers sand, loam, clay, or chalk.  Ultimate height and spread 4-8m x 3-4m in about 20 years.
