Description
Populus alba (White poplar) is excellent for extremely wet conditions, windy areas and coastal situations where there is salt spray.
White Poplar is a beautiful specimen with white woolly undersides to its leaves that flaunt when moved by the wind. It is fast growing and used as a boundary tree. Tolerant of salty conditions and windy areas and is used around seaside locations. Poplar is also great for windy, exposed sites.

Where to Plant
Plant full sun to partial shade. Ultimate height in about 10 years - 9m x4m. Hard pruning is recommended to increase intensity of foliage colour.
