Description

Rhododendron Mosers Maroon is an upright, spreading evergreen variety boasting unique masses of coppery red shoots contrasting against deep green spear shaped leaves.  Mosers Maroon uniqueness are the coppery/ red new shoots that make this rhododendron one of a kind. Its colourful distinctive leaves take on burgundy hues in autumn and winter.  In mid to late spring Mosers Maroon produces vibrant red flowers with reddish-black spots in the throat.  Mosers Maroon is a late flowering rhododendron, but a must for all gardens.  Ultimate height and spread 3.0 metres in 10 years. 

Where to Plant

Plant full sun to partial shade, moist, well-draining slightly acidic soil.
