Ilex crenata Golden Gem is a compact, low growing, dwarf evergreen shrub with a spreading habit  Outstanding golden yellow young leaves, turning yellow green in spring thru winter.  Spring and summer months will Golden Gem will produce delicate white flowers followed by black fruit in autumn.  Ilex Golden Gem is ideal for ground cover and is resistant to pollution.
