Description

Hebe Purple Pixie is a low growing, hardy evergreen shrub with small spear shaped green leaves and from summer to autumn shows off a profusion of upright lilac- blue flowers.  Purple Pixie is one of the longest flowering hebes.  Flowering begins after late frosts and lasts long into the autumn. 

It is attractive to bees and butterflies and ideal for a wide range of planting conditions.  Perfect for coastal planting.

Where to Plant

Plant in full sun to partial shade well-draining, moist soil.  Best planted in slightly acidic soil types, but will tolerate all other soil types, including heavy clay.  Ideal for containers, beds, borders.  Eventual height and spread after about 10 years – 70cm x 40cm.
