Green Leylandii conifers can grow 1m per year and when managed correctly can provide that 'instant' screening effect for privacy. They are a very versatile plant, tolerates most soil types and excellent for coastal conditions.  Likes full sun to partial shade. Fully hardy. Ultimate height and spread - 8-10m. Grown in Scotland.  Plant 1-2 per metre for hedge.
