Description

Leaves are elliptical matt green with a paralysing show of profuse funnel shaped purple-red flowers in April and May.  Stunning specimen when blooms in full show.  Awarded Garden of Merit and will not disappoint any garden.  Perfect for boarders, beds, containers, or a shady spot that needs some help and sparkle.  Ultimate height and spread - 0.8m x 0.8m in 10-20 years.  

Where to Plant

Plant full sun for best results.  Azalea Geroge Arends will tolerate partial shade.  Make sure soil is well draining, and slightly acidic.  Water well during dry spells.
