Description

It is an unusual upright evergreen shrub with stunning, vibrant red, unusually lantern shaped flowers in spring and summer. It is a deciduous plant with dark green foliage in all seasons. Awarded the RHS Garden of Merit and is something different for the garden.  Ultimate height and spread – 600cm x 500cm. 

Where to Plant

Plant in full sun to partial shade, well drained, light acidic Sandy soil for best results.  Shelter from drying winds, and if planted in full sun, keep the roots cool and shaded with under planting.
