Description
Like all cotoneaster plants, it is tough for many situations, preferring well-draining areas. Perfect Coastal area plant. Orange berries for birds, white - pink flowers attract bees. Cotoneaster Horizontalis has a very distinctive herring bone pattern making this the most unusual of the cotoneasters. Cotoneaster Horizontalis will grow upwards to 1-2 metres if trained rather than horizontally, and a spread of about 1.5 metres, showing off a spectacular graceful charm with its layers of leaves and berries.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun to partial shade, most soil types. Ideal for hanging over walls, and groundcover.
