Description

Colonel Coen flowers are widely funnel-shaped with fine deep purple shaped flowers with dark spots. Dark Glossy evergreen foliage. Will reach height of 1.5m in 10 years. Great location for Rhododendrons is near a tree that will provide them shade – make sure the shade tree is compatible with them and will not mind acid soil and have shallow roots - if the shade tree has shallow roots like the Azaleas and Rhododendrons, they will compete for nutrients.

Where to Plant

Plant Colonel Coen either full sun to partial shade, well draining, slightly acidic soil.  Water well during the dry periods.
