Description
Red Sunset is one of the best red maple cultivars known for its stunning show of colours. When mature, the fall will bring out the best of Red Sunset with mind-blowing red / orange leaves blending for that sunset effect - truly a spectacular show. It is a quick growing medium sized maple tree that would make Red Sunset very welcome in small and large gardens.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun for best leaf colour, but will tolerate partial shade. Like other maple trees, Red Sunset will grow in slightly acidic, loamy, moist, sandy, soils, well drained. Will also tolerate wet and clay soils. Ultimate height 10-15m when mature.
