Green Privet Hedge - Ligustrum Ovalifolium - (100/125cm)

Description

Privet hedges are generally known for their deep and rich green, oval-shaped leaves and masses of elegant white flowers that bloom through in summer - attracting many bees and butterflies. The plant is well-known for its dense foliage which can offer privacy and protection against pollution, making it suitable for both urban and suburban gardens.

Besides this, Ligustrum ovalifolium flowers can provide a beautiful feature in July and August, and the berries attract many varieties of birds and other species of wildlife.

Key Features

Green Privet is a relatively fast grower and grows well in many conditions - although wet sites are not recommended. It can also be placed in coastal situations, though it is likely you may see some defoliation in wintertime.
