Description

Copper Beech stands out amongst the crowd with its gorgeous, bright purple and greed shades during spring and summer, and a stunning copper colour throughout autumn/winter. Even though Copper Beech is deciduous, it will surprisingly hold onto most of its leaves throughout the cold periods, making it a fantastic, cheaper alternative to evergreen hedging!

Key features

Copper Beech can grow into a dense hedge and grows well in full sun or partial shade, as well as being able to tolerate most soil types. It will reach an ultimate height of 6m tall when left to grow, but it is best maintained at 2.5m or so.
