Characteristics:

Escallonia Donard Seedling is a strong growing evergreen shrub with small dark glossy green leaves with an arching, bushy habit. It bears pale pink / flushed white flowers throughout the summer which open from pink buds. Escallonia is ideal for coastal areas as hedging or screening,or beds and borders. Low maintenance makes Escallonia Donard Seedling an ideal and popular choice for many gardens. Ultimate height and spread 2.5m x 2.5m after 10-20 years.

Where to Plant:

Plant full sun in well drained most soil situations but must be well draining. Escallonia is a hardy plant, but may be damaged if the winters are severe. They tend to spring back in the spring.
